The Schools Water Efficiency Program (SWEP), a program in which Select Solutions has been closely involved, has won a United Nations Association of Australia World Environment Day Award.

The 2014 Excellence in Sustainable Water Management Award, announced on June 13, recognised the remarkable success of SWEP.

Since the program was introduced in mid-2012, more than 480 schools across Victoria have registered, collectively saving more than 700 million litres of water and around $2 million.

Select Solutions has been a SWEP partner since the program rollout, played a key role in measuring the schools’ water savings.

With 475 participating schools spread across the state, differing meter configurations, poor signal areas and the occasional technical difficulty, Select Solutions has found the partnership challenging but highly rewarding

Select Solutions has played a critical role in helping schools to accurately monitor water usage.
